The Missouri University of Science and Technology Applied Language Institute and Intensive English Program appreciates your interest in learning about Missouri S&T and the ALI.

The International Affairs Office, where these programs reside, is here to help you. We arrange transportation from the St. Louis Airport and assist with locating housing, making banking arrangements, obtaining a social security card, and shopping for needed supplies. We will answer all questions you may have about Missouri S&T, life in the U.S., and cultural practices. 

We will assist you in adjusting to living in Rolla and see that you succeed in your studies. Your commitment to hard work, time management, and completion of all assigned work will result in mastery of the English language.
